POLICE officers have issued an appeal to find a 21-year-old man who was last seen in Kent after leaving Colchester.

Essex Police said its officers are “worried” about Ahmed Dabbour, who went missing from Colchester on December 22.

The force said Ahmed left The George Hotel in High Street and took a train from Colchester to Stratford.

“From there, he took a further train to Dover where he was seen on CCTV in the Costa Coffee,” said a police spokesman.

“We’re releasing a CCTV image of him from that day to show what he was wearing when he was last seen.

“We’re worried about Ahmed and need to find him to make sure he’s ok.”

Officers are now appealing for information to find the missing 21-year-old.

Anyone who has seen him or have any information on his whereabouts is urged to call 999 and quote incident 639 of December 25.
