A GLOBAL star was delighted to receive a Tiptree-themed gift at his meet and greet.

Sam Ryder was gifted his very own personalised Tiptree Jam jar, filled with fresh jam and branded with ‘Sam Ryder Space Jam’.

The Eurovision star confirmed he likes jam as he accepted the unique gift, made by a staff member from the Tiptree jam factory.

Mark Woodcraft recently joined the company and works in the international labelling section of the factory based in Factory Hill, Tiptree.

He proudly handed the personalised jar of Jam to Sam during his meet and greet event at Colchester HMV.

Sam can be seen grinning with the gift alongside Mark at the meet and greet.

The singer wowed fans in Colchester as he performed in Culver Square shopping centre surrounded by crowds.

The singer from Maldon, who now lives in Brightlingsea topped the charts with his debut album ‘There’s Nothing But Space, Man’ which inspired the Jam jar design.

Mr Woodcraft said: “It was a great evening and I’d like to thank Sam for taking the time to meet with everybody.

“I was also happy that the jam he received made his day.”
