ICY road conditions caused the council to suspend garden waste collections for residents on Tuesday, December 13.
Residents have also been asked not to put their garden waste out for collection until the next scheduled date, which is Tuesday, January 10.
On that date, binmen will collect a maximum of four garden sacks or one brown wheelie bin.
Recycling and rubbish collections will be unaffected and will continue on their regular dates over the Christmas period.
