Closed - Station Road was shut this evening
A ROAD was closed in both directions this evening after an oil spillage.
Station Road, Ardleigh, was shut between Harwich Road and Frating Road following the incident.
Emergency service workers took the decision shortly before 5.30pm this evening.
An Essex County Council spokesman said it followed an accident and an oil spillage.
Traffic quickly and heavily built as the incident was dealt with.
It is understood the road has now reopened.
