HOTEL bosses have shared their delight at being crowned hotel of the year by a national newspaper.
The Angel Inn, in Stoke by Nayland, was awarded East of England Hotel of the Year 2023 by The Sunday Times.
The hotel, in Polstead Street, also featured in a top 100 list of places to stay in Britain and was handed a nine-out-of-ten ranking for its food and wine.
A hotel spokesman said the team are “delighted”, adding it is a “very special place”.
