A PERSON wanted by the UK Border Force Agency has been arrested in Colchester.
The motorist was stopped by police officers after residents reported “suspicious activity” relating to a car.
Essex Police stated drugs and a mallet were found next to the steering wheel inside the vehicle.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon, being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and for the original alleged Border Force offences.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “The public’s suspicions were right once again.”
