AN Essex popstar will stage two special acoustic performances inside a picturesque venue next month in celebration of his new album.
Olly Murs, from Witham, will perform stripped-back shows at St John’s Church, in Kingston, on December 1 and December 2, in association with Banquet Records.
The event, entitled An Evening With… Olly Murs, will see the singing superstar play tracks from his forthcoming LP Marry Me, accompanied by a string quartet.

The hitmaker has initially only planned to play the one gig but added a second date due to phenomenal demand.
In a statement published on social media, Olly said: “We are going to have a fun night with the fans and it is going to be such a laugh.
“I am going to be talking about the album and I am going to have a little sing-song as well – it is going to be awesome.”
Olly is best known for hits such as Dance With Me Tonight, Troublemaker, Dear Darlin’, Moves, That Girl and Heart Skips A Beat.
In addition to his performances in Kingston, the 38-year-old will also return to Colchester Castle Park next summer for a huge gig.
