A HAPPY go-lucky puppy who survived being abandoned in a box with a deadly disease is up for adoption.
Southend RSPCA is looking for a new home for Scooby.
The 12-week-old puppy the one of three survivors of six siblings found dumped in a box on the side of a Southend road, suffering from canine parvovirus, last month.

An RSPCA spokesman said: “Happy, go-lucky Scooby is now ready to find his forever family.
“Although he is still young he has been taking everything in his stride since being in foster care.
“Being a typical puppy, one moment Scooby could be literally bouncing off the walls and the next curling up on your lap for a snooze. His foster family have been working hard to keep Scooby’s days as physically and mentally stimulating as possible.”
