Uninsured - Alam has been fined for the offence
AN uninsured driver has been handed penalty points after getting behind the wheel in Colchester.
Nabil Alam was caught driving a Renault Clio while uninsured in Southway, Colchester, during the early hours of November 28 last year.
The offence was proved in the 38-year-old’s absence as Basildon Magistrates’ Court.
Alam, of London Road, Colchester, was ordered to pay £394 in a fine, surcharge and costs.
He was also handed six penalty points on his driving licence.
