A DRIVER has been reported for careless driving after a collision on the A12.

Police were called to reports of a three vehicle collision on the A12 between junctions 26 and 27 shortly after 6.25am this morning, Wednesday November 16.

Police say they believe no-one was injured but say one person has been reported for careless driving.

All lanes were fully re-opened within 25 minutes.

Traffic was queueing for six miles between Junctions 29 for the Ardleigh Crown/A120 and 26 for Stanway following the incident.

Travel time was approximately 35 minutes for morning commuters.

A police spokesman said: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.

"Please quote incident 188 of November 16."
