THERE are currently long delays on the A12 following a serious collision.
Police are on the scene of a reported multiple-vehicle collision London-bound approaching the roadworks area at Junction 27 for the Spring Lane Interchange.
Traffic is queueing for six miles between Junctions 29 for the Ardleigh Crown/A120 and 26 for Stanway.
Travel time is currently about 35 minutes.

A police spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a three vehicle collision on the A12 between junctions 26 and 27 shortly after 6.25am today (Wednesday 16 November).
"It’s not believed anyone was injured but one person has been reported for careless driving.
"All lanes were fully re-opened within 25 minutes.
