A WELLBEING centre specialising in treatments for those affected by cancer will give guests the chance to explore the services on offer during a special event.

The Chill Out Centre, which was launched by therapist Amanda Green at Beacon End Coach House, in Stanway, in August, will host its very first open day next Sunday.

Throughout the three-hour session, running from 11am until 2pm, visitors will have the chance to explore the site’s facilities and enjoy exclusive on-the-day offers.

They will also be able to meet with therapists specialising in massage, reflexology and facial treatments, as well as talk, energy and sound therapies.

Drinks and nibbles will be served for the duration and guests will also have a chance to win a £150 hamper full of vouchers, gifts, beauty products and foodie treats.

All money raised from entries into the prize draw will go to the Colchester Cancer Wellbeing Centre at Colchester Hospital.

Amanda said: “It became clear to me clients affected by cancer didn’t have access to treatments at a time when they most needed a bit of care and pampering.

“I now work with a number of highly-skilled professional therapists and beauticians who share that passion with me.

“With the launch of The Chill Out Centre, we have created a space that is safe, accessible and open to all.

“Our open day is a chance for people to come and see what we do.”
