A PLATINUM memorial noticeboard has been put up to celebrate how a Colchester community came together after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Residents in the Willows, which is just off Mersea Road, decided to put together a memorial noticeboard after they bonded to support each other and celebrate the community in the aftermath of the coronavirus lockdowns.
The noticeboard will allow the neighbourhood watch and residents group to post notices on litter picks, community events, and publicises the estate’s Christmas Carols taking place next month.
Councillor David Harris said he was “very happy” with the new facility.
