A MAN who admitted to assaulting an emergency worker has been given a community order and fined hundreds of pounds.
Paul Scott, of Middlewick Close, Colchester, appeared in court earlier this month where he admitted assaulting a police officer, spitting at a police vehicle, causing harassment through abusive language, and failing to surrender to custody at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court.
The 49-year-old must now comply with rehabilitation requirements and pay a fine of £410.
