A DRIVER has been banned from the roads after being caught driving without insurance.
Susan Smith, of Rosabelle Avenue, Wivenhoe, was caught driving in St Johns Road in February with no insurance covering her vehicle.
The verdict was proved at Basildon Magistrates Court via the single justice procedure, meaning defendants do not need to appear in court.
The 61-year-old received a driving ban for six months.
Smith was also fined £120, as well as being ordered to pay £34 in victim surcharge fees.
