POLICE have made three arrests following an incident in Lion Walk this afternoon.
At around 2pm officers were seen dealing with a fight in the shopping area, with two men and a boy then taken into custody.
Three police vehicles were in Vineyard Street Car Park as part of the police response, with the first leaving at 2.25pm.
It is understood three bicycles were also taken away from the scene.
A spokesman for Essex Police confirmed a boy and a man were arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm, with another arrested on suspicion of common assault.
A statement read: "Three people have been arrested in connection with an incident in Colchester this afternoon (10 November).
"We were called to reports of a fight in Lion Walk at around 2pm.
"Two men and a boy have been arrested.
"The boy and one of the men have been arrested on suspicion of ABH while the other man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault.
"All three are currently in custody."
