AIR ambulance medics were deployed to the same Colchester village twice in the same day after two men sustained serious injuries.
The Essex & Herts Air Ambulance was first sent to Tiptree on November 4 after being tasked to assist Essex Police and the East of England Ambulance Service.
Upon arrival the team was confronted with a male patient trauma incident before transporting the casualty to a major trauma centre for ongoing treatment.
Later on the same day, the air ambulance was again flown to Tiptree after being told about a man who had suffered a nasty fall.
The specialist medics worked with paramedics, police officers, and the Hazardous Area Response Team before transporting him to a major trauma centre.
