A PAEDOPHILE who attempted to engage a child in sexual activity has been warned he could be sent to prison.
Kevin Garvey admitted trying to incite a 13-year-old into participating in sexual activity with him in Colchester between August 26 and September 11.
The 38-year-old also admitted three counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child between August 24 and September 29 in Colchester.
Ipswich Crown Court heard Garvey, of Chestnut Way, Tiptree, contacted three minors during his attempts.
He is due to be sentenced on December 8 at the same court and has been remanded in custody until this date.
