A PERSON was taken to hospital after a collision in Colchester’s Hythe.
An ambulance was called to Colne Causeway shortly before 7pm on Friday night in response to the incident.
Police officers and a fire engine was in attendance to the collision in the Hythe.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to a road traffic collision on Colne Causeway in Colchester.
“A rapid response vehicle and ambulance were sent to the scene.
“One patient was transported to Colchester Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
