As we enter November following an unseasonably warm October, more people are likely to opt to take the car to and from work as the nights draw in and temperature drops.
To those of you who are still walking, running, or cycling to work or school – kudos.

This time last year, petrol prices were at an all-time high, and the cheapest petrol in Colchester cost you 140.9p per litre at Sainsbury’s.
One year on and two Prime Ministers later, no petrol station in Colchester is flogging fuel for anywhere near that cheap, with 164.9p per litre the best you're going to get around town.

7th – Esso (Bergholt Road): 167.9p per litre
50-litre tank: £83.95
8th – BP (Mersea Road): 169.9p per litre
