A TIPTREE man who drove on the wrong side of the road and crashed into an oncoming car has been given a driving ban.
Thomas O’Keefe, of Vine Road, Tiptree, appeared in court on Wednesday, October 19 accused of driving a vehicle without care and attention.
There, the 22-year-old admitted driving a Volkswagen Golf on the wrong side of Maldon Road in April, when he then crashed into an oncoming Renault Clio.
O’Keefe has been ordered to carry out 140 hours of unpaid work, pay a £205 fine, and has been disqualified from driving for six months.
