ANYONE struggling with the cost-of-living crisis or in need of a hot meal can visit several places around Colchester to receive free, or discounted food, this October half term.
A number of big name brands are offering deals during the school holidays.
Tesco café is offering a deal where kids eat free, with any purchase of fresh fruit, in the care of an adult. A Clubcard is required for the deal.
Marks and Spencer’s café is offering a deal where kids can eat free when parents spend £5 in their café.
Asda Cafe is allowing kids to eat for £1 all day, every day, with no adult spend until the end of 2022.
Toby Carvery allows kids to eat for £1 until October 28, with a special offer on their app.
Hungry Horse venues are allowing kids to eat breakfast free alongside every adult breakfast purchased, from 9am, to 12pm.
Preto steak house is allowing children up to the age of ten to eat free all day every day this half term, alongside paying adults.
