A RUSH-HOUR smash on a busy main road resulted in motorists having to contend with slow-moving traffic and delays.
Essex Police were called to the A12 in Colchester just before 9am today after a car and a lorry were involved in a crash.
The incident impacted the southbound carriageway near Colchester United's JobServe Community Stadium and the Crown Interchange.
A spokesman for the police said: “No injuries reported to us.”
The latest accident on the A12 comes roughly a week after a three-vehicle smash near Kelvedon saw two people hospitalised.
