A FAMOUS musician and actor turned dancefloor-filling disc jockey is returning to a Colchester venue for a musical night of nostalgia.
Martin Kemp, best known for being in Spandau Ballet and EastEnders, will bring his Back To The 80s Party to Charter Hall, in Cowdray Avenue, on January 28.
Trading his bass guitar for the decks, he will spin some of the biggest and best hits from the much-loved decade as ravers sing their hearts out.
In a recent interview, Martin said: “[The shows] are amazing. People absolutely lose themselves, singing to every word.
“It’s the most euphoric atmosphere I have ever been in, in my life.”
Leander Morales, who works for music promotions company Gm3|Music, says the show is not one Colchester residents will want to miss.
He added: “Dig out those 80`s clothes, grab your dancing shoes, and prepare to enjoy a night of pure Gold.
“If you want to join us don't delay. Spread the word, invite your friends, families and work colleagues. This is the perfect way to party into 2023.”
Tickets for the over 18s event, for which guests are encouraged to wear fancy dress, cost £22.50 plus a booking fee and can be purchased from colchester-events.co.uk.
