A WEDDING venue is celebrating being named among the finalists at a prestigious awards ceremony next month.
East Mersea Hall, on Mersea Island, will fight off the competition to be crowned the best in the east of England after it was shortlisted in the Wedding Industry Awards.
Bosses at the venue, in Church Lane, East Mersea, said they are “so excited” by the news, with the ceremony to be held on November 16.
They added: “We are unbelievably grateful to all of our couples for voting for us”.
