A MAIN road will be temporarily closed whilst water works are being carried out.
Maldon Road in Tiptree will be temporarily closed from a point approximately 60m south west of its junction with Peakes Close for a distance of approximately 30m in a south westerly direction.
The closure will begin on November 3 for two days.
A spokesman for Essex County Council said: “The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
“The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
“An alternative route is available via Goldhanger Road, Maldon Road, Church Street, South Street, Kelvedon Road, Oxley Hill, D’arcy Road, Factory Hill, Church Road and vice versa with access only into Maldon Road and Colchester Road.”
