AIRBOURNE medics were deployed to an emergency in a north Essex city after a woman suffered injuries as a result of a nasty fall.
The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance was sent to Colchester on Friday after being tasked with assisting Essex Police and the East of England Ambulance Service.
Upon arrival the trio of teams worked together to optimise the outcome of a female patient who had fallen and badly injured herself.
She was subsequently transferred to a hospital’s emergency department for ongoing treatment.
