THRILL seekers, look no further!

The Macabre Manor is inviting all horror lovers to enter its doors, offering a blood-chilling 4D story-based walkthrough experience, with a horrifying, 18+ rated twist at the end.

The event’s organiser is urging Colchester’s horror lovers to step forward, to complete the cruel twist at the end that only two visitors, out of 50, managed to complete as of last week.

Though no secrets can be revealed at this time, should visitors survive the walkthrough, an extreme, graphic twist for only the most hardened horror lovers awaits them.

The 4D story-based experience is designed to trigger every sense, as visitors are read the tragic story of Sarah Macabre upon entry, having to fight for their lives to escape her family warehouse.

Owner Jason Turner wishes to invite visitors to the ‘big finale’ he and his team have planned, as they aim to end the season with a blood-curdling bang.

The big finale weekend will take place from Friday, October 28, Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30.

On the event’s success so far, owner Jason said: “Everyone has been through so far has said that they have travelled over the country, and this is one of the best they’ve been to, as it is so different to the others.

“You are led to believe you are at the end, but you’re not. Out of 50, only two completed the extreme, final room last week.

"A lot of other people simply bow out before entering, unable to complete it.

“Only two people managed to survive the Macabre Chamber so far. I have had such fantastic reviews, with many people telling me it's one of the best horror evenings they have ever had.

“People have praised the walkthrough, story-based concept, acknowledging how different it is.

“It's story-based, there’s loads of screams and loads of jump scares, you just don’t know what to expect, it is so dark and eerie.

“You get a story read to you in the beginning, to set the scene, then you must escape. People are getting great value for money.”
