A ROAD is set to close for more than a week for improvement works.
Rainsborowe Road in Colchester is set to close from its junction with Layer Road in a north westerly then north easterly direction.
It is scheduled to commence on October 31 and will last for eight days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footways and cycleway works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Layer Road, Rainsborowe Road and vice versa.
