DRIVERS across Essex are facing huge delays this morning after a number of incident across the city this morning.

Police are currently dealing with a coach crash on Cymbelline Way in Colchester close to the A12.

The road is closed and causing long delays on to the A12.

On the A12 southbound between junction 26 and junction 25 near to Colchester lane two and three are closed due to an oil spill and it is causing approximately 40 minutes of delays.

There are five miles of congestion on approach to the incident.

This follows the road being partially blocked following a four vehicle crash.

It caused long delays back past the Colchester United football stadium.

The A12 Colchester-bound is partially blocked between Junction 17 Howe Green/A130 and Junction 18 for Sandon/Danbury.

There are reports of a collision in lane two, with police in attendance.

Queues are currently back for five miles to Junction 16 at Galleywood.

There is also slow passing at the scene on the London-bound side.

The A12 Colchester-bound has one lane blocked between Junction 19 for Boreham and Junction 20 for Hatfield Peverel.

This is following reports of a collision involving two vehicles.

One of the vehicles has overturned and police are in attendance.

There are currently long queues back for about five miles, back to Junction 17 at Howe Green/A130.
