A MAN who lived alone was found dead in his flat by a visitor, an inquest has heard.
David John Chapman was discovered to be unresponsive in his house in Witham on September 7.
Essex Coroner’s Court heard his body was in a state of decomposition, with paramedics confirming the 54-year-old to be dead at the scene.
The court heard the police believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, however the results of a toxicology report are awaited.
A review into the inquest will be held on November 7.
