HUNDREDS of runners raced through Dedham as the annual run took place.

The run aims to offer a great day out for the family whilst raising vital funds for Dedham Primary School and other youth organisations within the village.

The event proved to be a great fundraiser with event organisers believing they will raise a total of about £5,000.

The money raised will go to Dedham Primary School and will be used to fund outdoor exercise equipment at the back of the school's playing field.

Funds were also raised for the Langham Scout Group which took care of the car parking. They were paid £1 per car they parked, raising £210.

Visitors were also able to enjoy a bouncy castle, an ice cream van, stalls as well as teas and coffees.

The race proves to be popular with both competitive athletes and fun runners.
