DAREDEVIL estate agents have raised thousands of pounds for a mental health charity after launching themselves out of a plane.
Property experts from Beresfords, which has a presence in Colchester, Witham, Maldon and Braintree, have generated more than £6,000 for Mind.
The vital funding was generated after 12 employees at the award-winning company braved a skydive, jumping out of a plane at 13,000ft.
The money will now be donated through the Beresfords Foundation, which is managed by independent charitable trust Essex Community Foundation.
Nicki Treffers, one of the skydivers, said: “It’s safe to say freefalling from an extreme height at 142 mph instilled a feeling of both fear and excitement within me.
“I never would have believed I could be so brave to skydive from such a significant height.
“However, the experience was by far one of the most exhilarating activities I have ever been involved in.
“Knowing that we raised such fantastic funds for a well-deserved cause makes it all the worthwhile.”
Nicki took part in the skydive alongside colleagues Sunita Glover, Jacob Farson, Holly Hussey, Steven Smith, Jessika Dalby-Randall, and Yasmin Freeman.
They were also joined by colleagues James Westbrook, Jade Donald, Jack Williams, Phoebe Holland and Kendall Hunt.
