A POPULAR leisure centre has announced it will close on the day of Her Majesty the Queen's funeral.
Leisure World, in Cowdray Avenue, Colchester, will close on Monday "as a mark of respect" for Queen Elizabeth II.
A statement from the venue reads: "We will be closed on this day as a mark of respect and to allow staff to mourn the nations loss.
"We will open as normal on Tuesday, September 20. Thank you for understanding."
