A MAN with a “flagrant disregard for court orders” has been jailed after breaching a restraining order.
Liam White, of Winchester Road, Colchester, sent a letter to a woman he was prohibited from contacting on September 1.
He admitted the offence at Colchester Magistrates’ Court and was jailed for a year.
A magistrates report reads: “[The offence is] so serious because the defendant has a flagrant disregard for court orders, [and] because the offence was aggravated by the defendant's record of previous offending.”
White, 39, must also pay a £187 surcharge.
