A MAN found with 28 cannabis plants in Colchester has been warned a prison sentence is likely.
Hadley Nye, 43, was found to have both produced and been in possession of the Class B drug in February.
Nye, of Old London Road, Copdock, admits both charges.
He was due to be sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court on Thursday but Recorder Richard Christie QC adjourned proceedings until October 6 so a pre-sentence report could be compiled.
“I take the view this case is potentially one that crosses the custody threshold because of the cultivation of the 28 plants,” said Mr Christie.
