FROCK-SWAPPERS freshening up their wardrobe helped to raise £150 in aid of Colchester’s foodbank.
The frock-swap held at Colchester’s Eco Festival at the weekend saw visitors donate clothes or find a second-hand item for themselves.
Others who didn’t have anything to swap but fancied a new outfit offered a donation towards the unique idea.
Organiser Lesley Scott-Boutell took a cheque to Colchester Foodbank following the event to help struggling families.
She said: “Thanks to the generosity of the frock-swappers I was delighted to pass on the £150 donations to the Colchester FoodBank.
“Thanks to all who donated, swapped and got involved.”
