POLICE officers have located a 22-year-old man after he was reported missing.

Officers searched High Woods Country Park at the Brinkley Grove Road end as they ramped up efforts to find him on Monday afternoon.

The public were urged to help the force's appeal as concerns grew for his welfare.

Essex Police has since stated its search has concluded after the man was found.

"We are no longer trying to find Ryan Davis, who had been missing in Colchester. He has been located safely," said a police spokesman.
