A MULTI-TALENTED comedian and impressionist is bringing his side-splitting new show to a historic city centre entertainment venue.

Luke Kempner will stage his latest stand-up routine Macho Macho Man at Colchester Arts Centre, in Church Street, on September 20.

The Spitting Image star, who has more than ten million video views online, is considered to be one of the UK’s hottest mimics.

He boasts a hilariously razor-sharp roster of contemporary impressions ranging from Piers Morgan and Boris Johnson to Ted Hastings and Paul Hollywood.

During his performance at Colchester Arts Centre, he will also tackle the personalities and likenesses of everyone from Ru Paul and Joe Wicks to Louis Theroux.

A spokesman for the event said: “In this brand-new show Luke tries to work out what masculinity really means.

“Everyone at Downton will give Luke advice on becoming a first-time parent and Louis Theroux will take him through Man-School.

“Luke struggles to fit in, between turning up to a dance audition in football boots to falling in love with a ‘cool guy’ that sits in the row in front of him at the football.

“Will Luke ever become the Macho Macho Man he dreams of?”

Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased by visiting colchesterartscentre.com.
