Scene of the crime - Brooklands, Colchester
A MAN who broke a restraining order and smashed a woman’s phone has been jailed.
Gary Brimble, 37, is banned from seeing the woman but attended an address she was at in Brooklands, Colchester, on August 25.
While there he caused £200 worth of damage to her Huawei P30 Pro phone, Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard.

Brimble, of Portland Road, Birmingham, admitted the criminal damage and breaching his restraining order.
He was jailed for 16 weeks and ordered to pay £354 in a surcharge and compensation.
