A THIEF who snatched two bottles of port from a High Street supermarket has been ordered to pay back what he stole.
Colin Southby, 36, stole the alcohol worth a total of £24 in Colchester High Street’s Marks and Spencer shop.

Southby, of Lethe Grove, Colchester, admitted one count of theft when he appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
He was ordered to pay £179 in a fine, surcharge and costs, as well as £24 in compensation.
