COLCHESTER Academy is celebrating its students’ successes after they worked hard to secure good grades across the board.

Stellar performances include Daniel Johnson, one of the academy’s top performers who secured ten qualifications at Grade 7 and above including seven Grade 9s.

Ellie Clarke gained six Grade 7s or above and  Marvin Copleston gained six Grade 8 and 9s. Pen Igbinedion gained ten Grades 7 to 9 while  Charles Madridano gained eight Grades 7 and 8.

Skye Marzell gained ten Grades 7 to 9 and Fabliha Sarwar gained ten Grades 7 to 9.

Colchester Academy leaders said they wre especially pleased with the number of students who made great progress.

They commended Annalise Gazzard, Katie Hempstead, Marwan Inzar, Hayleigh Jenkins, and Kaitlin McGenn, as their results were "a true reflection of their hand work and dedication".

Principal Jenny Betts said: “We are beyond proud of all our students’ achievements and acknowledge all their hard work and dedication, in a period of uncertainty and upheaval.

“Our thanks also go to the hard-working staff and the supportive parents who have been instrumental in helping our young people achieve their potential.

“We are excited for the future of our young people as they now begin their next exciting steps.”
