A NEW survey has been launched by Colchester Council so members of the public can air their views on crime and anti-social behaviour across the city.
Running for four weeks from August 22 until September 19, it is hoped the Fear of Crime Survey 2022 will help inform the council about the problems residents feel need the most urgent action in Colchester
The survey is 28 questions long and can be completed online.
Commenting on the survey, councillor Julie Young said the results of the study will mean the authorities will have a better idea of the public safety issues which affect residents the most.

The portfolio holder for housing and communities said: “Fear of Crime means different things to different people, from not feeling safe in their home or wider community, to fear of burglary or physical harm.
“That is why we are keen to hear your views on issues of local concern and your experience of crime and anti-social behaviour.
“We hope to use the results of the survey to help inform our future priorities and tackle a range of public safety issues when they arise.”
The survey can be completed via rb.gy/q2e3eu.
