The new comedy musical Friendsical, written and directed by Miranda Larson will hit Mercury Theatre in Colchester this September. 

Friendsical is an original parody musical inspired by the hugely popular US TV show Friends. 

It will run at the theatre from September 21-22 and then continue to embark on the rest of its UK-wide tour following on from its run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

The  musical show will cram all ten seasons and 236 episodes into 60 minutes of nostalgic fun. 

It's featuring original songs such as (He's her) Lobster!, Richard's Moustache and You're over me? When were you under me?.

Writer and director, Miranda Larson said: "From day one of airing, I have been a huge fan of the TV show and it has been my dream to stage and celebrate this iconic series.

"There is something for everyone in Friendsical, from well-known references to ones that only mega fans (like me) will get.

"If you're new to Friends, then it's a fun musical love story that can be easily followed."

Playing everyone's favourite friends are Sario Solomon as Joey, Sarah Michelle-Kelly as Monica, Nelson Bettencourt as Ross, Tim Edwards as Chandler, Ally Retberg as Phoebe and Amelia Kinu Muus as Rachel.
