DRIVERS may experience delays at the weekend with a city centre road set to shut.
Priory Street in Colchester will close on August 21.
The one-way road is home to a large car park and will close near its junction with St Botolph's Street.
The closure will last one day while work to install a washout is carried out by Anglian Water.
Alternative routes are available via High Street, Queen Street and via East Hill, Brook Street, Magdalen Street, St Botolph's Circus, St Botolph's Street with access only to Priory Street.
