THE date and time of Colchester United's Carabao Cup clash with Brentford has been confirmed.
The U's will host the Bees at the JobServe Community Stadium on Tuesday, August 23, kick-off 7.45pm.
Colchester were rewarded for their 1-0 first-round victory at Ipswich Town with a home game against Premier League opposition.

Colchester's last meeting with Brentford came back in 2014.
The U's won 4-1 against the Bees on that occasion, thanks to goals from Freddie Sears (2), Marcus Bean and Alex Wynter.
The last time the U's face Premier League opponents in the League Cup at the Community Stadium, they knocked Spurs out of the competition on penalties in the 2019-20 season.
