A MAN has been arrested in Colchester after an eagle-eyed police officer spotted a vehicle being hunted by the force.
An officer working on Essex Police’s Automatic Number Plate Recognition desk says the vehicle of interest was flagged by an officer on the ground in Colchester.

“We successfully managed to locate it and guide officers towards [its location],” the police’s control room stated in a Tweet.
The vehicle was subsequently stopped and a man was arrested on suspicion of theft at the scene.
