A MAN has been convicted of fraudulently advertising goods under a false company name after failing to attend his trial.

Sonny Nuttall, 32, had denied three counts of fraud in relation to the advertising of insulation for sale.

One of the charges related to advertising eight rolls of insulation in Manningtree under the false company name ‘Three 60 Hire’.

The offence took place between August and October last year.

He denied three counts of fraud in May, but was convicted at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on July 26.

Nuttall, of Main Road, Great Leighs, was convicted in his absence after he failed to attend the trial.

A warrant was issued for his arrest.
