HISTORIC venues across Colchester are set to open their doors to the public for free.
Heritage Open Days returns to Colchester for 2022, held between September 9 and 18, with a record number of 36 events and sites of significant historical and architectural interest lined up.
On Saturday, September 10, Colchester Castle will be joining in the celebrations and opening its doors for free.
Pam Cox, Colchester councillor responsible for heritage, said: “Discover more about Colchester’s rich heritage with this fantastic festival. Go behind closed doors, step back in time and revel in Colchester’s fascinating past.”
