A BODY of a man has been found on a beach in Essex.
Essex Police were called to reports of a concern for the welfare of a man at Shoebury beach in Southend.
Sadly, a man, who was in his 70s, was found deceased.

Other emergency services were also reports to be on the scene at the time, on Thursday, July 28, at around 8:20am.
A spokesman for Essex Police confirmed the man had sadly died.
They said: “We were notified just after 8.20am on Thursday 28 July of a concern for the welfare on a man at Shoeburyness beach, Southend.
“Sadly, a man, 70s, was found deceased.
“It is being treated as non-suspicious and a file prepared for the coroner.”
